The iconic prints of Australian textile designer Florence Broadhurst came alive with the announcement of the collaboration with Australian home textiles label, Rapee (www.rapee.com.au). The Broadhurst collection will be available in five stories and a number of colourways, which will extend throughout outdoor, indoor living and dining and kitchen and will be centred on eleven archival prints.
These exceptional designs will be printed on premium fabrics using various techniques including: 100% silk jacquards, embroideries on 100% cottons, foil prints on 100% linens and prints on cotton linen blends. The palette extends to bolts of blue; tranquil sea foam, denim and periwinkle; as well as punchy coral and flamingo fuchsia. The collection also welcomes shades of yellow and high-wattage metallic which will help to create richness and playful elegance while putting a fresh spin on timeless designs.
Broadhursts’s delicious designs will brighten up any kitchen with with its collection of dining accessories (including cork and silicone placements and reversible printed cotton placemats and runners) and Kitchen in a Bag kits which will feature an apron and double oven mitt in a tote-bag.
